The primary handoff format is PDF for broad readability. Structured transfer and archive options preserve richer records and selected attachments when the recipient needs more than a document.

How do automatic backups work?

Users can choose iCloud backup on Apple devices or Google Drive backup where supported. Backup status is shown in the app, and manual exports remain separate from automatic recovery backups.

Does HouseManual require an account?

The core home record does not require a HouseManual-hosted account. Sign-in may be used for optional platform features such as provider-authorized backup, while the app remains local first.
